Belfairs opened their 2026 campaign in style on Saturday, hosting Hartswood and securing an impressive 6–3 victory against a strong visiting side.

The singles set the platform, with Alix Little taking the opening match, followed by further wins from Peter Mahoney and Terry Copping. Steve Tucker and Ray Jones both battled well to earn halves, giving Belfairs a 4–2 advantage heading into the four-balls.

In the pairs, Karl Norman and Tony Hayter clinched the decisive point, before David Woolford and Mark Gopy put the seal on a well-earned 6–3 success.
