Belfairs Golf Club hosted this year's event and achieved a remarkable hat-trick by winning the Kindred Shield for a third consecutive year,

The annual contest between the five Kindred golf clubs, Belfairs, Boyce Hill, Rochford, Southend and Thorpe Hall,comprises teams of 4 pairs competing in a combined stableford format taking the 3 best scores from 4 

On this occasion home advantage proved decisive as Belfairs took the honours with a 4 point margin over close neighbours Southend.
