Thursday, 26th June, was Lady Captain’s Day, and it proved to be a thoroughly enjoyable occasion. Joan Howroyd emerged as the overall winner, with Terri Hirons taking second place. The scratch prize was awarded to Andrea Clarke.

Unfortunately, no ladies managed to win the nearest the pin on the 10th hole, but the longest drive on the 14th was claimed by Debbie Packwood.

The Lady Captain was also pleased to welcome the gentlemen to take part in the event.

The overall winner among the gentlemen was Dr Kev (Hockridge). Club Captain Steve Tucker, won the longest drive on the 14th, while Frank Howroyd secured the nearest the pin on the 10th.

Paula was very grateful to Zoe, Phil and Frank for their help with the half-way refreshments and bar and greatly appreciated all those who supported the day.
