Steve Bucke began his tenure as Belfairs captain with a Seventies themed drive-in on Sunday.

Steve arrived on the tee to the strains of "Purple Haze" and the gathered supporters were entertained by a humorous introduction from Andy Nash.

The drive-in party, comprising Steve, vice-captain Baz Patel, outgoing captain Trevor Innard and president Susan Meddle, then proceeded to tee off on the par-3 first hole.

Our new captain rose to the occasion in style as his ball landed on the green and 30 feet from the hole.  

All Belfairs members wish Steve and Baz an enjoyable and successful year.
