I would like to wish all members and visitors to the Belfairs Golf Club website a very warm welcome; I am certain you will find all the information you require, so please take your time and have a good look around.
Here at Belfairs we are fortunate to play on a very highly regarded public course that provides a terrific test of golf for any standard of player. Improvements will continue throughout the year with the 17th and 18th greens undergoing extensive repair and maintenance. The course recovers very quickly from adverse weather conditions and is soon back in excellent condition by the Spring. We do have an easy walking course, but the wide fairways on the front nine are deceptive as the back nine is tree-lined and narrow with many varied challenges.
In addition to regular club competitions, we enter teams into several county and national events, so there is always an opportunity to represent Belfairs in competitive golf. Off the course, we also have a busy social diary including quiz nights, race nights and dinner dances.
The Captain's Bunker is at the right of the green on the 1st hole and I'm sure all members will support my chosen Parkinon's by donating £5 for the year to cover each time they visit it!.
New members of any age and golfing ability are warmly welcomed and with my Vice-Captain, Joan Smith, we hope you will vist us and enjoy our course and hospitality.
