JUBILEE CUP 14th May 2023
Belfairs continued their Jubilee Cup campaign with a visit to Three Rivers Golf Club on Sunday. Trailing 3½ - 2½ after the singles, the fixture developed into a very close contest with each pairs match arriving at the 18th all square. A half on the last, however, was enough for Three Rivers to claim the win by a 5-4 margin.

NORMAN PLUM TROPHY April 30th 2023
Belfairs played Upminster in round one on Sunday and were unlucky to lose a very close contest.
The home teams from both clubs were in sparkling form as Belfairs won each of their three matches, duplicated by Upminster at their course. The final score was 3-3, so count back was needed to decide the outcome giving Upminster the win 7-6.

Jon Stannard & Andy Nash won 1 up in a tight encounter for the entire match. Each time the home team looked to close it out another spirited fight from the Upminster pair nearly saw them snatch victory from the jaws of defeat. | |
After flying start in which Mark Gopy and Steve Tucker raced to 4 up through 5 holes,the Belfairs pair were always in control to record an emphatic 4&3 win. |
VETERANS v MARDYKE VALLEY 17th April 2023
With the first home match postponed due to bad weather, Belfairs Veterans were eager to get their season underway with the regular fixture against Mardyke Valley. As usual the visitors were in good form and contributed to a closely contested match where the lead ebbed and flowed between the two clubs throughout the morning. It was Belfairs, however, who eventually prevailed 6-3, but both teams could celebrate, as once again, the match was played to an "honourable draw" in the finest spirit of the game. Congratulations to captain John Brennan and the team.

Belfairs got off to a good start in this year’s competition with a narrow win over visitors Epping Golf Club.
Nigel Warder, Peter Mahoney and Dave Smith put Belfairs three up, but Epping responded with two wins and a half from the next three matches. However, Colin Parker and Harry Smith steadied the ship and the home side prevailed to a 5-4 victory.
Congratulations to captain Steve Bucke and the team and good luck in round 2.

JUBILEE CUP Sunday 2nd April 2023
Belfairs played their second tie of the Jubilee Cup against visitors Langdon Hills, The match developed into a very closely fought contest with the advantage alternating between the two sides throughout the afternoon. Eventually, a half from the last pairings was enough to secure the overall win for Langdon Hills. Well played to both teams who represented their respective clubs in the best possible light with an impressive display of sportsmanship.
